The 120 experienced professionals, pumped up and trained to handle this type of tool (and the wood that needs to be cut) will act under the watchful eye of the emblematic personalities of Stade Toulousain, official partner of the event and present for the occasion.

For Didier Lacroix, President of Stade Toulousain: "Sports logging is a discipline that proudly upholds the values of perseverance, team spirit, respect and conviviality; values that are also deeply rooted in the culture of rugby in France and at Stade Toulousain". And for Thibaud Flament, player at Stade Toulousain: "These world championships in France are a good thing for the development of this sport in France. I hope we will go as far as possible in the competition!".

- The individual competition will bring together the 2024 national champions from Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States as well as the eight best national champions from Europe. Here, participants will compete in two events with a chainsaw, three with an axe, and one with a saw.
