A meeting for students and the general public
In Toulouse, we have our heads in the stars. With 25% of European jobs in space and 12,000 jobs in 400 companies, Toulouse is the European Capital of the Space Industry. We are very proud of Thomas Pesquet, a Toulousain at heart, who studied for several years in the pink city. From now on, we will also have to count on the Toulouse Space Festival in Occitanie. This major event will bring together the main industrial players such as Airbus, CNES, Thales Alenia Space, CS Group, as well as the best schools and training courses such as INP Toulouse (Prépa T2, N7, ENIT), ESMA/ETPA, and many experts and associations.

Space exploration is on the big screen with daily screenings throughout the day of documentaries such as "Thomas Pesquet, the right stuff", the film "2001, a space odyssey" or the animated film made in Toulouse "Terra Willy" to name but a few...
No need to put on a space suit to experience space immersionwith the gyrospaces, the Electric Rotor Ride which creates a centrifugal force equivalent to 5G, the virtual reality ship or even an escape game in a survival capsule!

The Nights of stars
From Friday May 24 to Saturday May 25, from 8 p.m. to midnight, astronomy enthusiasts and the curious will have the opportunity to observe the wonders of the sky in the company of experts from astronomy clubsat MEETT. Dhe cinema sessions will complete this memorable experience. food trucks will provide catering until 9 p.m.

Psst! As part of the Toulouse Space Festival, the Cité de l'espace is organizing an exceptional day of activities and meetings on the links between space and sport, on the occasion of the 2024 Olympic Games Free access, by reservation, Sunday May 26 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A little hungry? On site, the restaurant Le Central by Esprit Pergo is open Saturday lunchtime/evening and Sunday lunchtime. Food trucks, bar and snacking every day.
