To make the most of the sunny days, Toulouscope has listed for you the top cultural events to share with family or friends this summer. During the summer, the Cité de l’espace invites visitors to come discover the place at night. 11 new eveningsare scheduled to explore the place under the light of the stars! The public will be able to enjoy exhibitions, activities and shows with free access all evening and a night show on the rocket to close the evening! On these occasions, the 4 hectares of space gardens are illuminated and visitors are invited to observe the sky with a telescope. restaurants and food trucks are available on site. Enough to leave with stars in your eyes!

From June 29 to July 13, the people of Toulouse will enjoy vibrant moments: music, cinema and literature come together to give rise to exceptional shows. Indeed, for its third edition, the Toulouse Festival is planning a rich program: gospel, jazz, classical, French variety… Many musical genres will rub shoulders throughout the event. Ibrahim Maalouf, Kyle Eastwood, Jean-François Zygel, the Orchestre national du Capitole, Christophe Willem, Kim Higelin… A multitude of talents perform on stage in various flagship cultural venues of the Ville rose.

Les Toiles du Château de Pinsaguel invite you to come and share a moment of relaxation and entertainment that is ideal for the summer period: open-air film screenings! Every Wednesday and Friday during the summer, spectators set up in the courtyard of the castle to enjoy feature films of all kinds. Inside Out, Garfield and Despicable Me delight the youngest. As for seasoned film buffs, they can enjoy recent releases such as The Count of Monte Cristo or great classics such as Amélie. Before the screenings, a guinguette with food trucks of all kinds opens its doors! The magic of cinema and gourmet food are combined in a friendly atmosphere and give rise to unique summer evenings, under the stars!

From July 12 to December 31, 2024, at the Musée du Trésor d’Eauze, visitors will be able to discover the potential archaeological of the territory through the new temporary exhibition: "In search of the ancient city: archaeological prospecting in Eauze". The ancient city is full of secrets! Over the past few decades, archaeologists have been able to uncover its mysteries, without having to dig into the ground, thanks to techniques and methods that will be revealed during this temporary exhibition. Young and old are invited to come and take a leap back in time while sharing a unique cultural interlude.

Attention to fans of Latin and Afro-Cuban music, the Tempo Latino festival is back for a 29th edition! From July 25 to 28 in Vic-Fezensac, a town located 1 hour 30 minutes from Toulouse, musicians with sunny rhythms share exotic notes through unique shows! Raul Paz, Roberto Fonseca, Ramon Valle and Maïté Hontelé’s are part of the program. Festival-goers enjoy a multitude of summer activities: beach volleyball, gourmet hike between sunflowers and vines, Latin dance workshops… For almost 30 years, the event has proven to be an must-see musical interlude of the summer!

On July 29 and 30, the Romans will take over the ramparts of the Village Gaulois to share a unique historical interlude. An opportunity for young and old to discover Roman and Gallic cultures in a fun and educational way. The empire of Julius Caesar no longer holds any secrets for them as they discover command tents, war machines and also demonstrations of military maneuvers. An ideal opportunity to enjoy the good weather while walking along the paths of the 9-hectare archaeological and cultural park. On site, craftsmen straight out of Antiquity live in traditional houses with thatched roofs!

The Rose Festival: the Toulouse event not to be missed

Festival-goers will see life through rose-tinted glasses for four consecutive days, from September 29 to 1, 2024. For this 3rd edition, the Toulouse brothers BigFlo and Oli have decided to put diversity in the spotlight: all generations will find what they're looking for in the lineup! Indeed, big names in French variety such as Francis Cabrel rub shoulders with major rap figures like Booba, Niska and Zola. Fans of electro music can enjoy sets by Nina Kraviz or those of the duo Justice. On site, stands with entertainment, food and water will be part of the event. What you need to enjoy a festive event that will end the summer period as it should!

The event will be held in Cahors, from September 5 to 7 at the Parc des Expositions. Headlining the festival areMartin Solveig, James Blunt, Claudio Capéo and L.E. J! During these 3 days of concerts, rap, rock, Latin pop and even reggae thrill festival-goers. On site, they can also enjoy a village with all kinds of entertainment: photo box, exhibition of vintage vehicles, playground… In addition to offering moments of musicality and festivity, the festival is committed to ecology: eco-cups, waste sorting, shuttles… Everything is designed to celebrate while respecting the rich territory of the Lot!
