The Pink City has nothing to be ashamed of! The Michelin Guide unveiled its 2024 restaurant rankings this Monday, March 18, during a ceremony organized in Tours. And some addresses in Occitanie including three in Haute-Garonne (and one in Toulouse) are in the famous and prestigious list of the (new) best restaurants in France!
3 new restaurants received their first star
This year, two restaurants obtained three stars (one in Paris and the other in the Var, which bagged three stars at once – a first!), eight had two stars and 52 restaurants won their first star (compared to 39 in 2023) at the Michelin Guide. Among them, three are in Haute-Garonne and (only) one is based in the heart of Toulouse. We won't make you languish any more, here they are:
- L'Auberge de la Forge strong>, establishment of chef Théo Fernandez located at 8 Rue Jean Parisot, 31590 Lavalette;
- Le SEPT by Guillaume Momboisse located at 11 Rue Théodore Ozenne, 31000 Toulouse;
- Pleine Nature, gourmet by Sylvain Joffre at 6 place de la Mairie in Quint-Fonsegrives a, for its part, received a green star (it promotes the most committed actors and models in terms of eco-responsible gastronomy).

4 Toulouse restaurants among the best in France
Now, they there are therefore four Toulouse establishments to hold a star: Michel Sarran Restaurant, the Jardins de l'Opéra, Hédone, and therefore The Sept.And only one two-star restaurant: thePy-Rby Pierre Lambinon located in the city center of Toulouse, at 19 Dsc de la Halle aux Poissons. On the other hand, don't look, no gastronomic place has three stars!
In Haute-Garonne, the list is barely longer since L'Aparté (Montrabé), < strong>Ô Saveurs (Rouffiac-Tolosan), En Marge (Aureville) as well as the two new additions, En Pleine Nature (Quint-Fonsegrives) and < strong>Auberge de la Forge (Lavalette) can boast of being in the Michelin Guide with one star.
10 establishments in Occitanie
If the Ile de France is the most awarded region with no less than thirteen stars in total, Occitanie has also received a few:
- Restaurant La Cooperative – Domaine Riberach in Belesta, (Pyrénées-Orientales, 66);
- Chalice by Fabien Lefebvre, in Béziers (Hérault, 34);
- Château de Collias by Julien Martin in Collias (Gard, 30);
- Emilie & Thomas – Moulin de Cambelong in Conques-en-Rouergue (Aveyron, 12);
- Restaurant Hervé Busset in Rodez (Aveyron, 12);
- Le Cèdre de Montcaud by Matthieu Hervé in Sabran (Gard, 30) ;
- Restaurant L'Almandin by Frédéric Bacquié in Saint-Cyprien (Pyrénées-Orientales, 66);
- Le Saint Hilaire by Sébastien Rath in Saint-Hilaire-de-Brethmas (Gard, 30).
