This week, free museums and cultural places for students

Culture mission for young people! From Monday March 4 to Sunday March 10, 2024, Toulouse Town Hall and Toulouse Métropole are joining forces to offer students the opportunity to discover the cultural program for free with dedicated events: nightlife, quizzes, murder parties, guided tours … An exceptional week in the most beautiful monuments!

Free (prestigious) museums and monuments

For occasion, certain cultural establishments in the Pink City will be free and completely free of access, both for the permanent collections and the temporary exhibitions. Here is the list:

  • - Paul-Dupuy Museum of Precious Arts
  • - Saint-Raymond Museum
  • - Convent des Jacobins
  • - Galerie du Château d'Eau
  • - Le Castelet (free entry ticket sales only at the box office)
  • - La Chapelle des Carmêlites and the Chapel of La Grave
  • - The Quai des Savoirs
  • - The Natural History Museum
  • - The Slaughterhouses

A cultural treasure hunt h2>

During these 7 special days, Toulouse students will also be able to participate in a unique treasure hunt between partner establishments, organized with Clutch and the association Les Dealers de Science. The principle is to find two scientific and artistic popularization videos in all participating locations. Here is the list:

  • - Le Théâtre du Capitole
  • - Le Metronum
  • - The Study and Heritage Library
  • - The Sorano Theater
  • - La Grainerie

And who says game, says prizes (more than 60 are up for grabs). A draw will therefore be organized between Monday 11 and Friday 15 March and the winners will be notified by email.

Events of all kinds and a crazy night

In addition to enjoying all these cultural establishments for free, students will be able to participate in numerous events of all kinds: musical evenings, quizzes, conferences, theater, shows live, DJ set, performances or even creators' market, guided tour and even a double concert by Mentissa and S.H.A.

On Thursday March 7, an evening party promises a truly free and unforgettable journey for participants in a dozen places in the city, until:

  • 8 p.m. at the Saint-Sernin Basilica and the Abattoirs
  • < li>9 p.m. at the Chapelle de La Grave
  • 10 p.m. for all other establishments
