In the Top 10 for 3 years
For several years, the famous site kebab-frites lists the best kebabs in France and among the best of the best is the Delizioso, a kebab located near the Rangueil faculty, not far from the city center of Toulouse. Ranked 2nd in this ranking based on customer reviews, it has therefore not left the Top 10 for 3 years since it was 8th in 2022 and 1st in 2023. p>
For its owner, David Guedria, Delizioso owes its national reputation to its original recipes including Occitan based on figs and foie gras, cooked on site and above all 100% homemade. “From A to Z, from sauces to bread, we do everything ourselves. I come here at 6 a.m. to make the dough”, he explains to us, proud of his job chef and his restaurant which has become a true institution.
An address completely renovated for the occasion
Installed in a corner of this Toulouse district since December 1999, the Delizioso had to getting a facelift following its reputation as the best kebab in town. "We had a lot of people, but the restaurant was not suitable so we closed for 2 months to redo everything" David Guedria also revealed to us. To adapt and diversify, the chef and his teams decided to set up a salad and thus cook all the dishes in front of their customers and "they love this new unique concept which has saw the light of day on September 15, 2023”. Kitchens open to the room for total transparency!
Since its name has been known, many gourmets have come to Delizioso to taste the lamb kebabs or even turkey. "Since we redid the work with a quality card and prices which have increased, the selection has been made by itself. So, we have executives, workers, professors from the FAC …And even,people who come from everywhere, from all the suburbs", David tells us.
It must be said that the restaurant no longer delivers and does not no longer takes orders by telephone so if you want to try this address born (almost) 25 years ago, you absolutely have to go there!
