This summer, the Halle de la Machine has a programme combining shows, fabulous tales, unusual meals, free concerts...

Watch out, the Halle de la Machine has reserved a stunning program for its visitors this summer… The Minotaur, the Spider and the Carré Sénart Carousel will of course still be there to amaze young and old. But that's not all: from July 6 to September 1, 2024, multiple activities will brighten up the Halle, to be enjoyed with family or friends. Stories, lunches, scenographies and walks: make way for the "Halle Day Long"! Free concerts will also liven up the venue all summer long, with Halle Night Long.

Striking special effects…

Since the beginning of the year, the brand new scenography "Snow, Wind and Fire" impresses with its astonishing weather phenomena… Over the next few months, spectators will be able to enjoy the welcome coolness of the white room, also known as the snow test. And if the heatwave becomes oppressive, they will enjoy the refreshing gusts of the wind test! Among the other surprises, the fire frame and Cumulofocus, or the smoke test, promise an equally memorable experience.

Budding artists will also try their hand at contemporary art by handling the painting machine, the catapult, the punctilious, the wind drawing machine or even the calligraphic. Who knows what chance and engineering will produce as avant-garde works? Enough to raise many fascinating questions about the place of artificial intelligence in the field of art.

…. fabulous tales…

We love the "Contes Halle à Folie"! (do you get it?) Of course, these fantastic stories are primarily aimed at children aged 5 to 10, but adults won't be deprived of their pleasure. From July 12 to August 31, come every Friday and Saturday at 6:15 p.m. to listen to wonderful stories, carefully selected by a bookseller and staged by the Véritables Machinistes. But we must not let ourselves be distracted by the imposing Minotaur overlooking the assembly

… very unusual meals…

Let's now talk about catering. The chef at Minotaure Café has concocted a delicious menu with seasonal recipes for fine gourmets... And for those who prefer a completely unusual meal, come from July 6 to September 1 (18 dates) for Le Déjeuner des Petites Mécaniques, a crazy service provided by The Real Machinists! Don't be surprised if a waiter fills your glass of red wine upside down or if the salt and pepper shakers suddenly seem to have a life of their own.

… and the must-sees at the Halle de la Machine!

You can witness the awakening of Ariane, the magnificent spider measuring 20 meters in wingspan and weighing 38 tons, every Wednesday and Sunday afternoon starting July 7. The delicate creature will move thanks to the magic fingers of the Véritables Machinistes, with a musical staging and even a poetic snowfall. The opportunity to understand how the Real Machinists animate this creature made of steel and wood, and to discover all the tricks.

After necessary maintenance, the Guardian of the Temple is back this summer to tread the Giants' Trail. The opportunity to discover all the changes in the Montaudran district from a very high height (more than ten meters) for fifty passengers on each trip. By the way, if you didn't know yet, the Minotaur will once again be walking the streets of the Pink City during an unmissable urban show in October 2024

Finally, starting July 6, toddlers will be excited to take a ride on one of the mechanical animals at the Carré Sénart Manège, just across from the Halle des Machines. However, they will be faced with a difficult choice: climb on the back of a deep-sea fish, a colossal buffalo or an articulated scarab?

Also note: committed to inclusion, the Halle de la Machine invites for three Saturdays a Genuine Machinist practicing French Sign Language. It is also possible to attend LSF tours on the 3rd Saturday of the month all year round, at 11am and 3pm (registration here).
