The news is out, the Quai des Savoirs is preparing to reveal to us everything there is to know about Artificial Intelligence! A new temporary exhibition called "AI: Double I - Artificial intelligence and me". The opportunity to dive into an algorithmic universe full of mysteries, from February 2 to November 3, 2024.
Discovery and interactive popularization of Artificial Intelligence
While AI invades discussions, courts, internet servers, news and even the copies of certain students, the Quai des Savoirs (establishment of the Directorate of Scientific and Industrial Culture of Toulouse Métropole) aims to sweep away preconceived ideas and take stock of the state of this technology whose constant movement is slowly shaping today's world. The exhibition, co-produced with Universcience Paris, will allow you to discover advances in the field of artificial intelligence in an interactive and popularized way.
In the same way that AI learns of itself, through its interactions and errors following the principle of deep learning,visitors will be led not to be simple spectators and to interact with stands and machinesto understand how complex decisions, plausible sentences or detailed images manage to emerge from mysterious successions of numbers.
Rigorous in its contents, inventive in its museography, attractive and accessible to reach a wide public, the AI: Double I exhibition is largely immersive.
Robotic and immersive encounters
The curious people will be able to see some applications of the AI process. How can this tool anticipate the consequences of climate change, how can it help medicine and what concrete impact does it seem to have today on our systems. Thus,visitors will build a tool to help diagnose breast cancer, analyze the impact of AI on their jobs, attend a dance between humans and robots or discover creations produced by artificial intelligence .
This will thus be an opportunity to better understand an exciting operation and new issues while raising awareness of the ethical questions they generate.
