Sébastien Vincini, the president of the departmental council, revealed the complete route of the Olympic flame, the one which will cross on May 17, 2024 seven towns in Haute-Garonne, including the main one, Toulouse. A journey from Revel to Toulouse, the host city h2>
It is on Friday July 26, 2024 that the Olympic Games will begin, this global multi-sport competition supervised by the International Olympic Committee and taking place every four years in the four corners of the world. This year, the event is therefore organized in Paris and for the occasion, the famous flame, the one which launches hostilities, will pass, on May 17, through seven towns in Haute-Garonne, including Toulouse, stopover town.
A passage order revealed by Sébastien Vincini (the president of the departmental council and national secretary of the Socialist Party):

- Villemur-sur-Tarn - 1 km - 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Muret - 2.5 km - 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Rieux-Volvestre - 1.5 km - 12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.
- Colomiers - 4.3 km - 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Bagnères-de-Luchon - 1.2 km - 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Toulouse - 9 km - 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

If the precise route of the flame in the city center of Toulouse is not yet confirmed, it would pass through Saint-Cyprien, Saint-Pierre or even the Capitol before igniting ( and that's official) the Ernest Wallon Stadium, place of celebration of the Olympic Torch Relay where the cauldron will be lit by the last individual relay of the day.
An exceptional and symbolic moment in the he history of the Olympics during which no less than 7,000 people will be expected within the Stade Toulousain grounds. Festive, cultural and sporting events will be planned and accessible to all audiences.
