After its usual annual closure, the Halle de la Machine in Toulouse reopens its doors witha new scenography placed under the sign of the elements: Snow, Wind & Fire. To be discovered from February 10 and until August 31, with family (or not), under the amused eye of the famous Minotaur Asterion.
A fiery scenography to discover from February 10
On the occasion of the first curtain of the year, strange meteorological phenomena converge at the Halle de la Machine, located at the gates of Toulouse. span>An exceptional and unique new scenography, entitledSnow, Wind & Fire,which declares its flame (and its snow) and invites the public to live an unexpected experience, at the heart of the special effects of the Compagnie La Machine shows.
< div class="extemb-container">And who says new season and new exhibition, says new astonishing effects machines, imagined by François Delarozière, artistic director of the Compagnie de La Machine street theater in Nantes and the Halle de La Machine in Toulouse.
Visitors of all ages in total immersion
If the surprise is fleeting, the said machine will be able to immortalize this moment by photographing the astonishment of the visitors. Like total immersion in this mechanical world, each participant will be able to leave with a snapshot of their sensory experience.
Focus on the 4 new spells that awaken the senses
The white room or the test snow: What could be more magical than seeing and feeling snow in all seasons? With this immaculate in-between, overwhelm your senses and enjoy a bubble of pure poetry.
The fiery frame or the ordeal by fire: This new entry attempts to capture the 101 shades of fire. So, are you ready to face the flames?
< strong>Cumulofocus or the test of smoke: Here the spectator seems to be carried away by a cloud of smoke with which it is possible to play and with the sensation of being "on a cloud".
< p>Gusts or the test of the wind : You want to know the sensation of an aviator in the middle of a storm? No worries, the special effects team will simulate a real small hurricane for you during which you will have to fight against all odds.
Surprises throughout the season
To refer to the four natural elements that surround us, other machines have taken over the place strong>: snow chandelier, snowblower, smoke ring machine, flame paletto, water cannon... but also the Minautore's torch. span>
Not forgetting the five drawing and painting machines (imagined by François Delarozière which joined the mechanical bestiary of La Halle de la Machine last year. Since their establishment, hundreds of works have been created by budding artists; and these can be purchased during Extr[ART]dinary Auctions that the Machinists will conduct every day during the February holidays (from February 10 to 26).
