From March 8 to April 7, Occitanie has a smile. The sunny days are coming, the temperatures are warming up, the swallows and the comedians are returning to Occitania... It's official, it's the beautiful season! As usual, with her, comes the traditional Spring of Laughter which this year celebrates its thirty candles. The opportunity to enjoy, or discover, one of the greatest humorous festivals, in which Gérémy Crédeville, Élodie Poux, Edgar-Yves, Christine Berrou... and many others!
30 years of the largest comedy festival in France h2>
For three decades now, this vast gathering of comedians, jokers and merry men has been offering its vast programs to the public of the Toulouse region. Originally created by Jean-Paul Hiélard, under the name "Printemps de Courges", the event has changed a lot since its beginnings but seems to have found a formula that worksand which continues. This year, more than 70 shows are planned in around forty associated venues throughout, and this is new, all of Occitania!
Another novelty of the edition, the brand new Flashback Café, a new vintage bar in the Saint-Pierre district, becomes the HQ of the event... And a meeting place to share good vibes! Especially sincethe bar-restaurant will offer entertainment every evening (blind test, DJ set, talent evenings, etc.).Each event will be dedicated to a year from the last 3 decades. The opportunity to have joyful nostalgia!
A springboard for young artists
The Festival aims to help and propel the talents of tomorrow thanks to itsTremplin du Spring. To do this, the committee selected 6 budding artists from more than 400 applications in French-speaking Europe this year. This year, Lola, Ameziane, Louise, Mell, Thomas GT (a Toulouse resident!) and Gaëtan will open the festival during the Spring Gala and will follow three days of training at the Academy of Humor and Aude Gaillou (collaborator of Vérino and Jérémy Ferrari).
The small team will finally be split in two and will play six dates throughout the department from March 12 to 17 during the Young Talents Tour. Charlotte Deslion, last year's winner, will also be there to accompany them during the two opening Galas and will present her show on March 10 at the Young Talents Tour. a href="https://leprintempsdurire.com/spectacle/charlotte-deslions-salle-dexpect-10-mars/" target="_self">Fil à Lomb. We will also find her for Spring Night!
The little nuggets next to the big names
Diversity and curiosity are the key words of programming Off du Spring. It offers the possibility of leaving one's comfort zone and discovering more original forms of entertainment than what we would expect from humor in 2024 where stand-up reigns supreme. Dark humor, gesticulated conference, drag brunch, circus... there is something for everyone.
Thus, you can discover an Air Guitar show, the show “Didier super is much funnier than all these shitty comedians”, the humorous concert of Princesses Leya and Opium du Peupleor the classicsattempts at exhaustion by Gaspard Chauvelot at the Cave Poésie... And many others because this list is far, very far, from being exhaustive!

Three unmissable evenings h2>
- The Spring Gala (March 8)
Like every year, the festivities start witha Gala evening. On the program,a line-up of comedians entirely composed of young talents selected by the festival. A unique show allowing you to discover them all together before they separate into two teams for their tour of Occitanie! See you on Friday March 8, at 8:30 p.m., at the Diagora Labège Convention Center to discover this wonderful lineup of upcoming comedians, accompanied for the occasion by their godmother Christine Berrouand Charlotte Deslions, the 2023 winner. Also note that the evening takes place the next day in Tarn, at the MJC Saïc. The evening will be divided into two stages (6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.) with an intermission between the two.

- Spring Night (March 22)< /strong>
This is, perhaps, the climax of the festival. A timeless moment at the Zénith de Toulouse where it will be possible to attend a line-up of comedians among the best (Gérémy Crédeville, Les Jumeaux, Pierre Thevenoux...), all presented by Élodie Poux. “We have never sold as many tickets for Spring Night as in 2023…” rejoiced Mary Dievart, the festival coordinator. So, this year, the gauge is increased tenfold with the aim of being complete! A challenge far from insurmountable given the advantageous rate of €19 in the stands, an exceptional rate for a venue like the Zénith.

- The Closing of the festival (April 7)
