The Piano aux Jacobins festival offers Toulouse residents a musical start to the new school year! For 3 weeks, great artists will take turns in front of the keyboard installed in a historic location in the Ville Rose: the cloister of the Jacobins. This unique place with exceptional acoustics will offer a unique experience to visitors, who will be able to indulge in performances by pianists from all over the world.

Big international names and new talents

The 2024 edition opens on September 5, with a concert given by the young and talented Rachel Breen, broadcast live on France Musique. As festival director Catherine d’Argoubet points out, the taste for discovery and curiosity about younger generation performers have always been at the heart of the festival’s priorities, which welcomes 16 artists this year.

This lineup brilliantly illustrates this orientation thanks to talents such as Mao Fujita, Arielle Beck, Anton Mejias and Isata Kanneh-Mason, alongside artists already acclaimed by the public, such as Vadym Kholodenko, Nathanaël Gouin and Beatrice Rana.
