The 2024 version of the Aucamville and North Toulousain Guitar Festival arrives from 14 to 24 March 2024, with projects combining music, live shows and visual arts for all generations. Ten days of exceptional festivities to amaze and get young children and adults, curious solo travelers and (music) lovers moving, guitar enthusiasts and everyone else!
A family and musical festival organized in 6 Toulouse towns
For its 32nd edition, the Guitar Festival of Aucamville and North Toulousain will, once again, pass through six partner municipalities: Aucamville , Bruguières, Fenouillet, Fonbeauzard, Launaguet and Saint-Alban. The opportunity to discover new shows, on guitar or more, which will be performed directly before the eyes of spectators.
On the other hand, for the first time since its creation, the Festival and its teams of APG Sud are labeled Cities for All. Thus, two vibrating vests will be made available to people with hearing problems (except on 03/23) and audio headsets can be loaned to children (thanks to the partnership with Octopus). /p> Whether you are children or adults , with family or friends, let yourself be carried away and explore the different rooms to discover sensitive, poetic and joyful universes carried by talented artists from the new national scene and regional. Namely that all these emerging talents were discovered by Leila Belaubre, director of the Festival. BRUT, a show to be enjoyed from the age of 6, will open the ball, in warm-up mode, on Saturday March 10 at the Bascala. This promises an amazing singing tour that distills muscular and funny rock leading to pogo! This will be followed by around ten concerts with multiple facets and equally eclectic notes. Discover in particular the musical and physical poetry of the duo Lydie Fuerte & Eva Luisa; let yourself be lulled by the velvet voice of Roxane Arnalin symbiosis with the piano of Baptiste Bailly; recognize yourself in the texts of Athénaïs, or enjoy with your family the colorful universe of the show Mozaïc and the drops of rain; discover the hybrid project Machineless where jazz and rock mix with image and drawing, or the cinema-concert “The world of Jules Verne” set to music by Arthur Guyard and Cyril Bernard. More than a music festival , all the Arts mix during these two rich and varied weeks. Indeed, in addition to the concerts, several events are organized, including a masterclass focused on Flamenco with guitarist Lydie Fuerte, on Saturday March 16, 2024 - from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. - at the Jean Marais Cinema in Aucamville. To launch the show, a photographic exhibition by Patrick Arfi, at the Fenouillet media library is also planned with an opening which will take place on Friday March 8 from 6:30 p.m., and which will be set to music by the adult orchestra of the Fenouillet music school. An image prompter will also be present to allow visually impaired people to understand the exhibition , one more step in inclusion. And for more conviviality and sharing during all these shows, food trucks will be installed at the different reception areas. From March 14 to 24, 2024, the Aucamville and North Toulousain Guitar Festival will therefore offer you several days of concerts, educational activities, surprising meetings and original exhibitions.
