It is in Mazères, 30 minutes from Toulouse, that the 9th edition of the Manouch’Muzik Festival will take place from August 15 to 18! For 4 days, the Ariège bastide will proudly celebrate once again gypsy music in all its influences and components: from Gypsy jazz to Catalan rumba or even from Balkan music to flamenco… "Les amis du Swing" have concocted a program of 52 concerts including 46 free concerts.
The IN Festival, 6 exceptional concerts
The IN Festival will host , under the large red brick hall, Bekar, one of the favorites of the last edition. Goran Bregovic, great ambassador of gypsy music, accompanied by his prestigious orchestra. Juana Amaya, flamenco artist recognized worldwide for the mastery of her art, Romane, virtuoso of the gypsy guitar, Steeve Laffont, whose talent is no longer underlined or even Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra (BGKO) will draw the audience into a communicative energy to the rhythm of different influences.
The OFF Festival, 46 concerts offered for all
< p>For the first time, the Festival Off will offer over four days no fewer than 15 groups to (re)discover in a continuous musical flow and in very eclectic musical styles. Festival-goers will enjoy 46 concerts offered, in the musical oasis of the shaded park of the Pasteur chalet, where will be added the traditional end-of-training concert of the Master Class.A global, cultural and musical experience
The Manouch’Muzik Festival is also a global experience with a luthier’s corner set up in the heart of Muzik Ô Parc, artisan stands, catering points accessible to all budgets, but also the Master Class (registration required) which allows you to take part in a practical guitar or violin course, at the end of which the students will perform in public on the festival’s OFF stage!
