It is in September 2024, one year after the launch of the Halles de la Cartoucherie, that the show La Cabane, located on the first floor of the building, will open its doors to the public. Presentation of this future Toulouse place which recalls childhood, first discoveries, experiments and encounters…
A varied and already confirmed program
The festivities de La Cabane will begin on September 7 and 8, 2024, with an exceptional opening weekend which will also celebrate the first anniversary of the Halles de la Cartoucherie. On the occasion of this new performance hall and until the end of the year, several artists from the pop, rap and rock scenes have confirmed their presence: the talented Aliocha Schneider, the singer Emma Peters, Ministère AMER, the spectacular Barbara Pravi (125 sold-out dates in more than 20 countries), the young but no less promising Philipinne Lavrey, Puggy and even Odelaf will be there!
For the rest, The Girls Don't Cry festival, will take place in November for a weekend of joy and flamboyant music, the famous comedians Constance and Nordine Ganso will also take place respectively on March 28, 2025 and April 4, 2025 as well as two tribute concerts to Claude Nougaro are planned, including one on October 18, 2024 at 8 p.m.
A modular room for all events
Located on the first floor of the Halles de la Cartoucherie, the uniqueness of La Cabane also lies in its modular configuration with a retractable tier principle which allows a total capacity of 758 places or 444 seats in seated configuration. The room, built in the heart of Toulouse, will therefore adapt according to the events taking place there: music, humor, dance, circus, conferences, meetings... There will be something for all tastes and all ages! p>
A program which already promises to be rich and varied and which "will bring together actresses and cultural actors from the region who will bring their know-how and experience, such as Bleu Citron, associated structure of the Halles de la Cartoucherie", as specified in the press release for this new cultural venue.
A well-thought-out architecture
Realized by the Compagnie Architecture (Chloé Bodart and Jules Eymard), the real estate developer Redman and all the cooperatives piloting the Les Halles project, La Cabane des Halles de la Cartoucherie is above all a collective work.
Fruit of their imagination, the architecture of this space was not thought out and left to chance. Its stainless steel roof plays with the reflections of light, the exterior staircase is suspended (like the weather there. pass?), the ground floor is completely glazed to leave room for the curiosity of visitors…
The cabin , a place of imagination and experimentation, awaits you for new cultural experiences!
