Identify and support the talents of tomorrow
Since 2022, the competition Rose Festival selects four young artists or groups aged aged 16 to 35 each year, installed in Occitanie. The key: artistic residence, professional support, passage on the big stage of the festival , but also a tour at partner festivals and support for the structuring of their careers. "The objective is to create a real support course , with training, meetings, and especially visibility. We follow the artists throughout the year, "explains Alice Lefebvre, project manager The association .
" Bigflo & amp; Oli themselves participated in younger springboard and this has helped structure their careers. They wanted to make the same and create a similar device for local artists, giving them a real place on the festival, "adds Alice Lefebvre.
a mediation course to discover behind the scenes of the live performance H2>
Beyond support for artists, the association also offers a cultural mediation program , intended to show the live performance and its trades to young people Priority districts or rural areas.
In partnership with a dozen social structures (MJC, Secours populaire, prevention club, local mission ...), this course takes place in Several stages : Visit the backstage of a concert, immersion at la Dépêche du Midi , Podcast workshops or meetings with sector professionals.
"We organize regular meeting times with a dozen partner structures Young people all year round. The idea is really to open the field of possibilities and help them gain confidence, "said Alice Lefebvre. For the 2024-2025 edition, 135 young people participate in this route supervised by professional and mediation professionals.
1,000 young guests at the Rose festival H2>
Each year, Rose Festival marks the outcome of these courses. "We invite nearly 1,000 young people from partner social structures , and we make them live a day in its own right on the festival," explains Alice Lefebvre. On the program: artistic workshops, escape game, meetings with artists and professionals, followed by access to evening concerts, "This is a strong moment for us, and we are proud to be able to welcome them and make them live the interior festival".
A social and cultural commitment at the heart of the project H2>
The association is part of a broader approach, carried by the festival itself: promote inclusion, accessibility and eco-responsibility . Certain evenings are song, vibrant vests are made available to the deaf public, and a PMR course is converted.
