From April to November (except July and August), every first Sunday of the month, < strong>Toulouse Métropole organizes and runs free bike rides, friendly and supportive, in all 37 municipalities. To cycle solo, as a couple, with family or friends, it's an opportunity to (re)discover the city (and its surroundings) in a different way while practicing a physical activity.
Free bike rides are back in Toulouse
From April 7, 2024, every first Sunday of the month, get on your most beautiful bike, leave the tumult of the Pink City and let yourself be guided by professionals in the surrounding countryside for a bike ride lasting around 2.5 hours. Meet at 10 a.m. sharp on the Allées Jean Jaurès (at the foot of the Riquet statue - Canal du Midi side) with your personal bike or a VélÔToulouse rented nearby, but also with adequate clothing, your repair and puncture equipment, your drink and snack in case of a little slack.
Rides for everyone and adapted to everyone's level
These bike tours are completely free (but on registrations only) and are open to all Toulouse residents (and other cyclists) aged 12 and over (all minors must wear a helmet and must be accompanied by an adult). Note that the walks have different levels of difficulty visible thanks to the annotated stars ranging from * (between 15 and 20 km with flat and rolling profile), to *** (38 km with rugged sections and natural terrain), passing through ** (between 20 and 30 km with relatively flat and rolling profile).
