June 14 and 15: The casting and decoaching of the bells of the Garidech church, 500 years old story

This is one of the unmissable events of this year 2024 in Coteaux du Girou: the500 years of the church of Saint-Jean Baptiste de Garidech! For the occasion, the town has planned a rehabilitation program for its bell tower: two new bells will be manufactured and installed. Operations based on traditional know-how of excellence! Meet on June 14 from 7:30 p.m. to watch the casting of the bells followed by a concert, with catering on site. On June 15 from 10 a.m., the event continues with the unhooking of the bells and a outline of their polishing. All in a musical and warm atmosphere with a carillon concert!

On the occasion of the European Archeology Days, the town of Villariès opens the doors of itsArcheology Museum on June 15 and 16. On the program,immersion in the Middle Ages and the Modern eraviathree narratives: the artisanal production of a center of potters, religious and daily life in the priory and rural life in the 13th century. Visitors will also enjoyguided toursof the excavation site of the priory of Notre-Dame-De-Pinel and the local church and heritage of Villariès.

The Coteaux territory du Girou is planning various events on the occasion of the national event La Nuit deséglises.

On July 5, the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church of Garidech will open its doors to the public from 6:30 p.m. with a guided tour to discover the history of the buildingconsidered the oldest in the village, a true iconic landmark !

On July 6, come to Saint-Jean-Lherm from 6 p.m. for anart exhibition at the library and at 6:30 p.m. for an strong>visit the Saint-Blaise church, usually closed to the public. The day will end at 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the library with a friendly momentorganized by the Garozartistes association

From July 11, the Estivales Verfeil will be back . Every Thursday, during the sunny days, the town hall offers cultural events such as gourmet markets and an open-air cinema! On the program, you will find:

The 31 Notes d’Été festival returns to Haute-Garonne for a new edition from August 2 to 31. For five weeks, this free cultural event invites residents and visitors to enjoy 140 concerts, shows, and tours.

The festival sets up shop in Verfeil on August 16, and the program is packed:
- 9:30 a.m.: hiking, veering into the 19th century on the memorial trail. Meet at the Cultural Center In Solomiac
- 2 p.m.: visit to the church dedicated to Sainte-Blaise – RDV 23 promenade Jean-Jaurès.
- 4 p.m.: visit around spirulina at the Moulin de Conné – RDV 23 promenade Jean-Jaurès.
- 7:30 p.m.: concert by the group Les Accords Hédonistes – at the Espace Guinguette from 7:30 p.m.
- 9:30 p.m.: concert mixing traditional, futuristic and tropical rhythms by the trio Reco Reco
