This is a new address that has opened in the heart of Toulouse, between rue de Metz and the rue Croix-Baragnon: The wine counter. Here, as in a well-stocked store, the customer takes the time to discover and choose the bottle that suits them thanks to the wise and in-depth advice of two professionals in the trade.

Open since October 25 at 8 rue des Arts, in the city center of Toulouse, The wine counter is therefore run by two wine and food enthusiasts who have known each other for a long time: Arnaud, a former adventurer who worked in the Australian vineyards and sommelier for more than 10 years as well as Georges Camuzet, chef at the head of the gourmet restaurant L'air de famille (and Arnaud's former boss ).
It was after working for several years together at this address located at 6 rue Jules Chalande, that Arnaud and Georges decided, after having had some experience in the estate, to open < strong>their own authentic, cozy and refined cellar. “A carefully considered matter”, tells us the young man, who found his perfect premises - but which he completely renovated - made of bricks and woodto make it “a pretty place where you feel good”.

Here, no less than 400 wine references (liquid) are displayed on open furniture and accessible to all the curious. “I choose everything, I taste and I select from the small houses”, the owner of the place told us, not a little proud of his finds made directly with winegrowers and producers. Carefully selected wines that buyers cannot find in supermarkets, thus making this Comptoir des vins, a unique place in the Pink City!
If all palates can be satisfied, all wallets are too since prices vary between 7 euros and 300 euros per bottle of red, rosé or white wine.

More than a well-stocked Toulouse cellar, Arnaud and Georges also offers fruit juices, champagne, sparkling wine or even spirits of all kinds and even little-known drinks "that we should bring up to date". Because the choice is vast, Arnaud, a professional sommelier, can guide his customers with delicacy and simplicity. “Here we advise, it’s a different approach, we take the time to advise, to know the desires and to offer something that corresponds”, explains the professional.
